Nerina's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Nerina Simpson is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Thames Bridges Trek 2026 · 12 September 2026 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. I am taking part in the Thames Bridges Trek 2026, a walk happening on 12 September 2026, to raise vital funds and awareness for this cause close to my heart. My Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in February and the news came as a great shock to my Dad, our family and friends.

MND affects thousands of people, including some famous ones like Rob Burrow and Stephen Hawking's. The disease robs you of your independence and quality of life. The MND Association works tirelessly to provide care, support, and help to those impacted by this devastating terminal condition. Your generosity will make a real difference.

I have set a fundraising target of £500 and would be incredibly grateful if you could sponsor me. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to the MND Association through JustGiving Please join me in supporting this important cause by making a contribution today; together we can help change lives. I know Dad and our family will be very grateful because Dad did receive some vital funding recently for home adaptions which were urgently needed to make Dad more comfortable in the home. If we can give some funding back that is our mission.

Thank you so very much.😊xx
