Story

I just signed up for a dragon boat race with Citi to support The Felix Project’s critical work in getting food to communities who desperately need it.

Did you know that 100,000 families in London have less than £3 a day to spend on food?

I’ll take to the water and row to raise at least £200, which will enable The Felix Project to provide 540 meals across the capital.

Together with The Felix Project we can see a London where no good food goes to waste and no one goes hungry!

About The Felix Project

The Felix Project was established in 2016, in memory of Felix Byam-Shaw, and is London's largest food redistribution charity. They rescue good quality surplus food from over 500 suppliers and redistribute this to over 1,000 community organisations across London, supporting people experiencing food insecurity.

Citi colleagues in London chose The Felix Project as our London Charity Partner for 2025-2026. We’ll be working together to support The Felix Project to increase their supply and help feed more Londoners in need.

The money that you donate will go towards supporting The Felix Project's newly-refurbished South London depot. The depot will mean that more food can be rescued and redistributed to struggling individuals and families across the capital.

Together we can work towards an end to food insecurity and food waste in our city.
