Story
September is World Alzheimer’s month and to raise some money for the Alzheimer’s Society a team of intrepid adventures from New College are taking up the challenge of climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
As the UK’s largest killer, we want to help in any way we can by raising funds that will support families living with relatives who have Dementia and for vital research to help find new treatments.
1 in 3 people born in the UK will be diagnosed with Dementia in their lifetime. That means we are all likely to know a family member of friend who is suffering from this terrible disease.
More information on the work the Alzheimer’s Society does can be found here https://www.alzheimers.org.uk
Please give anything you can to help us support this amazing charity!
