Newcastle Pride has faced significant challenges since Curious Arts took on custodianship in December 2025 following the closure of the previous charity.

While they anticipated a difficult transition, a combination of factors including local election distractions, the cost of living crisis, reduced corporate sponsorship, and rising event and security costs has created substantial financial and operational pressure.

Additional support is now urgently needed to help secure the future of the event and Curious Arts are looking to raise £10,000 ahead of this years pride.
