Story
Every second counts in an emergency.
The Newmarket Community First Responder (CFR) scheme is made up of trained volunteers who are dispatched by the ambulance service to life-threatening incidents in our local area. We are often the first on scene, providing immediate care in those critical moments before an ambulance arrives.
As volunteers, we give our time freely—but the equipment we rely on is not funded in the same way as frontline ambulance services. To continue delivering a rapid, effective response, we need to raise funds for essential lifesaving kit.
Donations will help us to:
* Maintain and purchase defibrillators
* Equip more responders with fully stocked response kits
* Purchase additional medical supplies to improve patient care
* Support responder training and development
* Ensure we can safely and effectively respond to emergencies across our community
This is about local people helping local people. The support we provide can make the difference between life and death, particularly in cases like cardiac arrest, where early intervention is critical.
By supporting this fundraiser, you are directly helping us to continue saving lives in Newmarket and the surrounding areas.
Thank you for your support—it genuinely makes a difference.
