We're raising money to help support Newport Borough Brass Band with their appearance at the 2023 National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, in September.

After the COVID pandemic the band found themselves without their rehearsal premises and many former members. Despite these obstacles, the band fought hard to survive and placed runner up the 2nd Section Welsh Regional Championships in Swansea, qualifying the band for the National Finals held in Cheltenham in September 2023. For some of the band members it will be their first appearance at the National Finals, our youngest member being 14 years old.

The band are self funded, and rely on fundraising from concerts and other events to survive. Due to the large costs attached to attending this contest, the band would welcome any financial support that can be offered.
