Story
This Summer, Newport PSC will be welcoming a group of Palestinian women to Newport for a special visit centred on empowerment, solidarity, and cultural exchange.
During their time in Newport, the women will take part in community events, conversations, and creative activities, sharing their lived experiences, traditions, and stories. The visit will offer local residents an opportunity to learn directly from Palestinian women through personal connection and dialogue, going beyond headlines and media narratives to build genuine understanding.
The programme is designed to create a welcoming and inclusive space, particularly for those in Newport who may be engaging with Palestinian culture and experiences for the first time. Through storytelling, culture, and shared experiences, the visit aims to strengthen bonds between communities and highlight the power of women’s voices.
CADFA is a registered charity committed to promoting human rights, dignity, and equality. By hosting this visit, we seek to foster empathy, mutual respect, and meaningful international solidarity at a local level here in Newport.
Your donation — or your support through fundraising — will help cover essential costs for the visit, ensuring these important exchanges can take place. By supporting this campaign, you are helping to uplift Palestinian women’s voices, deepen cross-cultural understanding, and support work rooted in justice and respect.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make this visit to Newport possible.
