I had asthma as a child. I remember often ending up in the hospital because of it. Fortunately, my mother did everything she could to ensure that I wouldn't have to worry about the disease when I grew up.

It worked. Today, I can safely participate in any sport.

My daughter and I are doing the National 24-Hour Three Peaks Challenge. We also want to raise some money to donate to a foundation that helps those who suffer with asthma.

I want others to be able to stop worrying about their illness and conquer their own peaks.
