Our story: On September 15th, 2024, a group of four from the Respiratory department at Northampton General Hospital will be running the Amazing Northampton Run, a half marathon of 13.1 miles, to raise money for the Asthma Relief Charity. Wouter, Thang, Ronan, Olivia and Kar Mun have all seen firsthand how important this charity is.

The Asthma Relief Charity has been a huge help to the hospital by donating nebulisation boxes. These boxes are crucial for treating patients who struggle with severe breathing problems. Thanks to these donations, the hospital staff can provide the care needed to help patients breathe easier during some of their toughest moments.

To show their appreciation, Wouter, Thang, Ronan, Olivia and Kar Mun decided to take on this run and raise money for the charity. They want to give back and help the Asthma Relief Charity continue its important work. By supporting their run, you’re helping them say "thank you" to the charity and ensuring that more patients get the treatment they need.
