O' what's occurring?!

Velindre Cancer Charity are hosting a brand-new Gavin and Stacey Victory Over Cancer Walk lead by Charity Ambassador and Weatherman Derek Brockway! Becci and I will be taking part in a 6k walk around Barry, visiting all the iconic filming spots of Gavin and Stacey!

This isn’t just a fundraiser—it’s personal.

Receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy was one of the most challenging chapters of my life—physically, emotionally, and mentally. But through it all, Velindre was my lifeline.

I know firsthand how overwhelming a cancer diagnosis can be. I’ve felt the fear, the exhaustion, and the uncertainty. But I’ve also felt the strength that comes from being surrounded by people who care.

The fundraising will continue funding the family room and a relatives’ room on-site at Velindre. The relatives’ room is an essential space for families to stay with their relatives who are being cared for at the center. With a small kitchen and sofa bed, the room gives families somewhere quiet and comfortable to rest while still being near their loved ones.
