Why am I doing this?

I've been blessed to have my cat Princess be in my life for the last 10 years. She will be turning 15 next year in February. She has helped me so much throughout my life, seeing me through my teens and into early adulthood and now I'm 24! In honor of all she's done for me, and continues to do for me, I'm wanting to raise money for Cats Protection.

I am overweight (my most recent weight is 127kg. I am 175cm tall), and have struggled with weight loss due to a variety of health issues in the past that have since been sorted. Now that I am able to have a healthier lifestyle, I'm going to make the most of it.

I will be out each day walking with an aim of 10,000 steps a day. This will allow me to become healthier and get more exercise whilst also giving back to these beautiful animals that need our help as much as we need theirs.
