Myself and Richard Farrell are participating in 3x events to raise funds for Cancer Focus N.I. This is a great local charity who offer support and services for anyone affected by cancer. We all know someone who is currently, or has battled with this illness, and it's always too close to home.

We request that all donations go directly to the Enniskillen branch of this charity so that the funds are spent on people in our community affected by Cancer.

Our first event is on the 15th of August, the Mourne wall challenge, a 33km hike on the Mourne mountains spanning 14summits and expected to take us 13-15 hours

Our second event is on the 12th of September, the Causeway coast marathon walk, a 26.2 mile hike along the beautiful north coast

We are making a big impact because of you. Since opening our doors in May 2025, we have:

Received over 3,500 visits from people and families seeking support and advice on their cancer journey.

Welcomed 20 – 30 women a month for breast cancer bra and swimwear fitting consultations.

Supported 28 men attending a new Prostate Support Group and 8 women benefitting from a Secondary Breast Cancer Support Group.

Recruited and trained 31 amazing Meet and Greet Volunteers who are vital to our work.

Every day, another 6 people are told that they have cancer right here in the Western Trust. With 1 in 2 of us here likely to be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime, your continued support is needed more than ever.

By donating you have further joined us on our charity’s vision of seeing Fermanagh people live their most fulfilled lives with access to world-leading, equitable cancer support, treatment, diagnosis, prevention, and research.

As a local charity, we are 90% dependent on donations. Each year, we must raise over £350,000 in the Fermanagh area to allow us to run our Nurse-led Cancer Support Centre. All funds raised in Fermanagh stay right here to fund the Centre.
