Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for your donation to Diabetes UK. Their mission is to tackle diabetes day in and day out, until it can do no harm...changing policies and attitudes through campaigns, and changing lives with their research.

I'm running this year's Loch Ness Marathon on 29th September in memory of a dear friend who sadly passed away earlier this year, having lived with Type 1 Diabetes for over 50 years. The following Sunday I'm taking part in the Great Scottish Run, a half marathon around Glasgow, which at least finishes close to my front door!

Every penny you're able to donate will help me reach my target, and is truly appreciated and don't forget, if you're a UK taxpayer, you can claim gift aid, making your donation even more valuable to Diabetes UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
