Story
Along with two friends, after a tiny bit of peer pressure but mostly an early mid-life crisis after turning 30, I've decided to run a half marathon, starting with no running experience whatsoever. Great idea, huh?
Well, after around four weeks of training so far, with just over four months to go, I've already managed to break the 5K barrier (image below!), but it hasn't been easy.
When it came to choosing a charity to support for this endeavor, there was only one option on my mind, Dementia has hit close to home recently, and running on behalf of Alzheimer's Society is going to be a real honour.
Anything you contribute goes directly to the charity who do incredible work to change lives impacted by Alzheimer's and Dementia.
I'll be doing my best to prepare for the Oxford half marathon in the meantime and will keep you updated on my progress!
Thanks
