Join Us in the Fight Against Cancer!

At Derwent FM, we believe in the power of community and compassion. This year, we are excited to host a series of events to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, all while honouring our dear friends and family members who have bravely battled cancer.

Our Upcoming Events:

Bournemouth Bay Run - 5km - Derwent FM team will be donning our trainers and getting going!

Fitness Challenges: Our very own Kev Jones will tackle the Dartmoor Legend Ultra and the Dragon Ride, and is Joining AUB's Andy from AUBs CMS team to cycle length of Hadrian’s Wall, you can get involved and show support as we cycle the distance virtually at the same time from Campus Halls.

Throughout the year, we’ll also host raffles and smaller get fit team challenges to keep the momentum going!

Why We’re Doing This: We are raising funds for:

Chris, an institution at AUB working in their Photography team and one of the friendliest people we you will ever have the pleasure of meeting who is bravely battling a recent cancer diagnosis.

Elizabeth Maranga, the mother of Tim from Derwent FM who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for her stage 3 pancreatic Cancer diagnosis.

In memory of our beloved family members and friends who have lost their battles with this cruel illness.
