Story
Welcome to my just giving page! Thanks for visiting…
For most of my life I grew up as an only child but was very lucky to have 5 brilliant older cousins who were basically my siblings.
Our Dave was the closest thing I had to a big brother, he was so funny and incredibly kind - even when he stole my poncho on the river rapids when I was 8 and left me like a drowned rat.
5 years on, there is a not a day that goes by when my family and I don’t think of him.
This year, to mark David’s 40th birthday, my cousins Sophie, Nicola and I will be walking 110 miles from Meols, Wirral to Llangwnnadl, North Wales; a place that holds so many happy childhood memories for us and where I feel closest to Dave.
With the expedition expertise of Soph and Nic, our walk will take place over 4 days from August 6th to 9th 2026… thats 13 hours of walking every day!!! (Eeeeek... )Arriving just in time to toast to our Dave on the 10th.
Our chosen charity Pauls Place, provides bereavement counselling for those in Merseyside with no waiting list, removing barriers to those in times of need. I cannot thank them enough for the work they do and how they’ve supported our family.
Thank you again for taking the time to read and visiting my page. The support and generosity means the world.
