Story

Please join us in the Balmoral Hotel on Friday 5th May for our Fundraiser in aid of the South-West Belfast Foodbank located on 124 Stewartstown Road in the heart of West Belfast

There will be Live music followed by DJ, ballots with a chance to win some amazing prizes!

We will also be holding a sponsored 5k walk on Saturday 1st April followed by a cake sale at our premises with all proceeds going towards our final Total. If anyone wishes to join us for the walk from Clonard Monastery to The Foodbank at 124 Stewartstown road or volunteer to help set up the cake sale etc please get in touch with our facebook page. The South-West Belfast Foodbank.

The cost of living crisis means that more and more people are struggling to afford the basic necessities. We provide food parcels and other help to those who are financially struggling. We provide wrap around support and we are here as a hub if someone wants to come in for a chat.

We at team Foodbank rely solely on public donations and we are not government funded. Due to the current cost of living crisis we are struggling to keep up with public donations. We need your help so that we continue to support the community.

Tickets to the event are £10, we can take donations for our sponsored walk, fundraiser entry, cake sale, ballots and any other donations through this just giving page.

Since 2017 Northern Ireland has seen a 194% increase in Food parcels being given out.

40% of referrals to the foodbank are from those who are in work, this is a startling fact.

Please help us raise as much as we can. All proceeds will be donated directly to the South-West Belfast Foodbank.
