Story

we are raising money for the air ambulance service.

The air ambulance were vital in the operation to save Niamh’s life after she fell from the second lift of a building site scaffolding.

Niamh suffered a fractured skull in three places, a half torn liver, deep bruising and bleeding on the brain leading to a level of brain damage, due to the brain damage it has also led to nerve damage in her legs and feet which means she is unable to do as much physical activity as she could before like walking for too long.

If it was not for our colleagues fast actions in keeping Niamh still and checking airways and pulse while phoning the ambulance alongside the air ambulances rapid response arriving at the scene within 15 minutes of the call, Niamh would not be here today.

It has now been 10 months since the accident.

We would consider this a miracle given that Niamh pulled through by the skin of her teeth.

It would be our honour to give back to the air ambulance service and this fund raiser could help save someone else’s life in the future.

Me, Alice(Niamh’s mum) and Niamh will be doing a joint skydive to raise the money for the air ambulance ❤️

Thanks for reading.

Thomas Bastin (uncle of Niamh)
