Kate and Nic are running Brighton’s 10km in April to raise money for the amazing charity Mama to Mama … we’re two local midwives who have seen the benefits and worked alongside the charity for many families who need that extra support and help into parenthood.

Some facts about the charity;

· Mama to Mama is the only baby bank in Thanet

· Our vision is that every newborn baby and child under 5 in Thanet has the best start in life.

· We want ALL parents and caregivers to have access to the items and resources they need for a healthy and happy beginning for their family.

· Mama to Mama contributes to a greener planet and champion circular-living by rehoming high-quality preloved items and diverting from landfill.

· With your financial support, Mama to Mama has the capacity to grow and help every vulnerable parent referred to our services.

· Each care package that we ‘gift’ contains up to £3,031of essential baby items.

· In 2023-24, we supported 128 families in Thanet. By 2026, we aim to increase that figure by 40%
