Last year I decided to take a leap and change jobs . At first I was unsure but I’ve found my feet now .

I joined the brand new Wilton manor-sanders senior living as a Hostess . With lots of training my head was spinning as care is something that was new to me but I understood why i needed to learn it . As Wilton manor started to fill with residents I got into full swing with my role. The residents are simply the best and I love the time I get to spend with them having little chats , doing jigsaws or singing and dancing as this is part of my day too . I class every single resident as my friend . Everyday is different and everyday is rewarding .

I sadly see the reality of the disease aswel and how it affects the person and their families . I know that any money raised will go to good use as it’s so important to have support and guidance for anyone that needs it .
