Me & my daughter Carly are taking part in the Fraserburgh Boxing Day Harbour Swim in honour & memory of my late husband & her dad Martin Bruce, who sadly passed away a few years ago. Martin was skipper of his own boat. Both Carly & her dad were both at their happiest when down at the boat or roaming around the harbour together! Fraserburgh Harbour is both our happy place ♥️

The RNLI is very dear to both our hearts, all crew members selflessly going over & beyond to keep our fishermen safe & saving lives! I myself took part in the swim and Carly now would also like to take on the challenge in honour of her dad. This bursts my heart with pride and as alway’s I will support her to do so!

It's a challenging 52-metre swim across Fraserburgh Harbour in the cold North Sea on 26 December 2025.
