Story
7 years ago on 7 April 2018 I was told I had stage 3 breast cancer. I can’t put into words the shock and fear I experienced that day. But waiting to support me in the next room was a Macmillan nurse who held my hand through a year long treatment program , she was at the end of the phone when I had moments of terror that I wouldn’t see my children grow up and through the gruelling treatment. They are still there if I need them today because the reality is that treatment may end but the fear of reoccurrence will never leave. I am doing the mighty hike to raise money to make sure everyone diagnosed with Cancer gets the same support I did.
Please sponsor me and my amazing friend Faye who has agreed to do the marathon with me. All donations will be so very gratefully received ♥️
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
