I am a community palliative nurse specialist working at St Johns Hospice, Lancaster. I love my job. Sometimes it can be difficult as you might imagine but the reward of feeling like I have made a difference in a person’s symptom management or end of life care or supported their loved ones, is worthwhile.

I am cycling London to Paris to support, in a very small way, the organisation that provides a vital service to the community and enables me to do the job I do.
