I am running the London Marathon 2026 to support the Meningitis Research Foundation in their mission for a world free from meningitis.

I became aware of the Charity through my son-in-law Keren who at the age of 18, was unexpectedly diagnosed with meningitis. His condition deteriorated rapidly, resulting in an induced coma on life support. Thankfully Keren survived, but many are not so lucky.

This experience has ignited a passion within me to raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and rapid intervention. By participating in this marathon on April 26, 2026, I aim to honour those affected by this devastating illness and advocate for the vital work of the Meningitis Research Foundation.
