Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Mark, Nick and Rory are cycling over 620 Kilometres from the most Southerly point Mizen Head, Cork to the most Northernly point Malin Head, Donegal in Ireland in three and half days, in memory of Mary Gallen and for Martin Keable who’s living with Parkinson’s.

Parkinson’s affects more than just the person diagnosed — it changes life for the whole family. That’s why with this challenge we’re raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s.

Parkinson’s is often closely tied to dementia, which affected Rory's dad Kieran in his last few years. Since Kieran was an All-Ireland GAA winner, this All-Ireland cycle challenge is a fitting tribute.

This cycle challenge feels right. Mary, Mark’s mother-in-law, grew up in Kilcar and loved Donegal. Finishing in her home county feels like bringing her home.

Martin, Nick’s dad, was always the one clocking up the miles on the bike and loved visiting Ireland, so he will be cheering us on from the sidelines in Caister on Sea (Norfolk) —This one’s for him.
