With over 21 years experience, Oasis offers services across Brighton&Hove and East Sussex for women to make their journey of recovery from addiction. We support children affected by familial substance misuse with a free creche and therapeutic services as well as parenting programmes.

Story

Dear Friends and Family,

The 172km UTMB race has provided an opportunity for me to support the life-changing work of the Oasis Project. This outstanding charity, where Kirsty works, is a beacon of hope in Brighton and surrounding areas, supporting families shattered by substance misuse.

Many of us are fortunate to have robust support networks—families and friends who stand by us in tough times. However, for many supported by Oasis, such networks are non-existent. Imagine facing life's challenges without anyone to turn to for help. This stark reality underscores the critical role Oasis plays, not just as a provider of services but as a creator of supportive communities that are essential for sustainable recovery.

Last year, Oasis supported 750 women and children, helping them to rebuild and reclaim their lives from the shadows of addiction. But we all know this is really just scratching the surface of support that is needed. Your contribution can help extend Oasis's reach, breaking chains of addiction and trauma, and building new foundations for those who feel most isolated.

Please consider making a donation through this Just Giving page. Together, we can help give people who need it most hope and opportunity, changing lives not just now but also helping break the chain of multi generational trauma far into the future.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
