I am taking part in Maverick Jurassic 100km (over 62 miles) Ultra 2024 Race and fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK.

I've seen the effect this can have on friends and family, its devastating. Not just the effect it can have on the person who it is affecting but the feelings of loss of connection and grief for those around them.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. They work to revolutionise the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia and support those around them.

Whatever you can spare will not only help the people dealing with this terrible disease but will also spur me on to do my best and complete by far the toughest challenge I have ever undertaken.

I have 24 weeks to train.. its going to be tough.
