Green Hub is a charity in Milford & Godalming supporting teens (10-18) facing social, emotional & mental health challenges: We do this via our social therapeutic garden programme - Green Teens - which focuses on mental wellbeing, as well as supporting parents with our monthly Parent Hub.

Story

Dear all – I need your help.

I have recently discovered a wonderful garden charity – The Green Hub Project for Teens, in Milford, Surrey. They support young people (11-18) across Waverley & Surrey who are struggling with mental health challenges. They achieve great results with their 12-week Green Teens garden programmes, which they offer on Saturdays, and mid-week for teens who aren’t able to get into school. The teens spend time in a safe and non-judgmental environment learning new skills and enjoying the outdoors. I have recently qualified as a garden volunteer and am very proud to be joining the team. It’s very well run by kind and hard-working volunteers and is very ambitious to grow to help more of those in need.* So, if you’re an individual or an organisation looking to make a real difference to local people’s lives, please do consider donating.

Why your help matters …

The charity helped 100 young people last year and wants to help over 200 in 2025, with your assistance. It costs £500 to put a young person through the programme and to change their lives – the charity has to work hard at raising cash all year round, especially as they don’t get any statutory funding.

Alternative if you have a child who you feel could benefit from the charity (it’s free) please look at https:/greenhub.org.uk

Thank you so much.

* over 250,000 teens are currently awaiting mental health advice and 50% of all mental health originates before the age of 14.
