Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

RMA - The Royal Marines Charity exists to help the entire Royal Marines family. Offering a range of services to both serving, veterans and their families.

In 2017 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and the Royal Marines gave me the courage to tackle the physical element of it. However I was left with scars that affected my mental health.

At the time there was stigma surrounding mental health and I didn’t know how to talk about those feelings until much later.

My mental health had a negative impact on my life, physically, emotionally and professionally.

It wasn’t until 2023, where I went and sought out professional help to address the issues that I had been carrying through various trauma over the years.

I am raising money to support the Royal Marines charity so they can support Royal Marines, past, present and future. To highlight awareness of testicular cancer, particularly in young men, and to raise awareness for men’s mental health.
