In loving memory of two incredible men—my father-in-law, Albino Perera, and my father, Barrie Barber—I’m taking on a 24-hour challenge to fight cancer. Both battled multiple cancers, and while they received great end-of-life care, this disease still takes too much from too many.

I’m a proud Londoner, and I’m putting my love for this city to the test by walking non-stop for 24 hours along the River Thames. Starting at midday on Sunday 30th March 2025 at the Thames Barrier, I won’t stop until 1PM the next day (adjusting for daylight savings), wherever I get to.

Every step is for Cancer Research, to help create a future where cancer no longer causes so much pain. If you can, please donate—together, we can make a difference.

En memoria de dos hombres increíbles—mi suegro, Albino Perera, y mi padre, Barrie Barber—he decidido enfrentar un desafío de 24 horas para luchar contra el cáncer. Ambos enfrentaron múltiples tipos de cáncer y, aunque recibieron una excelente atención al final de sus vidas, esta enfermedad sigue afectando a demasiadas personas.

Soy un orgulloso londinense, y voy a poner a prueba mi amor por esta ciudad caminando sin parar durante 24 horas a lo largo del río Támesis. Comenzaré al mediodía del domingo 30 de marzo de 2025 en el Thames Barrier, y no me detendré hasta la 1 de la tarde del día siguiente (ajustándome al horario de verano), hasta donde logre llegar.
