Story
In 2019, I suffered a stroke and underwent brain surgery. Through a miracle of God I thankfully made a full recovery. I was discharged from hospital in a wheelchair. The doctors said it would be impossible for me to get to where i am now fully fit and well, and yet...here i am, representing Great Britain in the triathlon world championships!
Headway were available to support me and my family through this challenging time. A head injury or brain trauma can happen to anyone at anytime, from a stroke, falling off your bike, falling off a ladder, being in an RTA etc. It affects your whole life and that of your family. Headway are a charity that supports you when you need it most.

I am racing in the world championships triathlon in Torremolinos in October representing GB. I am so blessed to have come from a brain injury to this event. A miracle! The impossible to the the reality. Achievement out of adversity!
I would like to use this opportunity to raise awareness for Headway charity.
If you can give anything to help support this charity it would mean so much. Thank you!
Our goal is to promote understanding of all aspects of acquired brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with acquired brain injury, their families and carers.
UPDATE OCTOBER 22ND
