Walking 500 miles across Australia

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

The Alzheimer’s Society is a charity that is dedicated to creating a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They provide support, information, and research funding to improve the lives of those affected by dementia.

I have decided to take action and make a difference by participating in a personal walk across Australia from February to April, covering a distance of 500 miles. This journey will not only challenge me physically but also allow me to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Society. I will be walking 25,000 steps a day to achieve my goal across Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Tasmania.

Dementia is a condition that affects millions of people worldwide, including friends, family members, and loved ones. It can be incredibly difficult for both the individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. The Alzheimer's Society works tirelessly to provide vital services and support to those affected.

I am reaching out to you today with an ask - please consider supporting my fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer's Society. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of those living with dementia. Together, we can help create a brighter future where dementia no longer has such a devastating impact.
