Jail and Bail
Campaign by Saint Michael's Hospice (RCN 518905)
Jail & Bail will see a number of community leaders from the local area spending time behind bars to help raise funds for Saint Michael’s Hospice and Herriot Hospice Homecare on Friday 7th March.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been summoned by the team at Herriot Hospice Homecare to appear before HH Judge John Walford on Friday 7th March.

I am accused of a crime of deceit and lying around chocolate, in particular hiding it from family members and not sharing it.

Of course, you know that I am innocent and I will do my best to defend myself but I have been asked to raise £1,000 bail in order to be released. If found guilty, I will serve a custodial sentence and I will be locked in the cellars of Swinton Park.

Can you help make a contribution towards my bail? If you feel able to do so, I will leave the amount to your own goodwill, but please bear in mind that the cellars at Swinton are very cold!! Of course, you may choose to pay to keep me in there!

All money raised will go towards looking after local families through Herriot Hospice Homecare, which is a hugely important cause to support. You will have read that all hospices are struggling, and from April 1st 2025, the NI shock will only continue to make the struggles worse.

Thank you, Nick
