I moved back from Dubai to the UK when I found out that my mum had bladder cancer in October 2022, and I was fortunate enough to spend the last months of her life with her.

Cancer is a horrible disease. Being the child that helps care for a parent is a challenging change in dynamic. Its one that everyone my age is either going through, has gone through or its coming for them. Its hard.

I'm asking people to donate the cost of a pint to this amazing charity in honour of my mum, and to make things easier for the people with this journey still to come.
