Another year, another marathon, another great cause!

After running the London Marathon in 2023 I've decided to go again in 2024 and run the Barcelona Marathon (hopefully knocking a few minutes off my time in the process).

Once again I'm running for a charity that does some unbelievable work in supporting those going through lifesaving liver transplants and all the aftercare that comes with it. Some people may not know but my Dad had a liver transplant in 2019, in the incredible Addenbrooke's hospital, without which he may not be with us today. I cannot put in words the gratitude for all the hospital staff and ALTA for all their support and work along the way and hopefully this goes some way into showing my gratitude.

Poignant in all of this is the fact that my Dad turns 70 the day before the marathon. Although I may not show my appreciation and love for him all the time, this run and fundraising is one way I will show him how much he means to me and my gratitude that we still get to share memories to this day.
