Lynch Syndrome is a little known but prevalent gene fault which predisposes carriers to certain cancers including colorectal.

It's estimated that 1 in 300 people can carry the gene. Raising awareness and funds for further research is important as many people could avoid serious illness through screening and subsequent check ups.

Keith carried this gene and developed bowel cancer which ultimately led to his death.
