Story
Hi there!
Thanks so much for visiting my JustGiving page.
Last year, I had the privilege of caring for my Nan during her final months. While it wasn’t without its challenges, her last days were filled with comfort, and even some moments of laughter and smiles—all thanks to an incredible care team who made such a difference in her life.
Experiencing end-of-life care is something that touches us all at some point—whether for a loved one or even ourselves. We all hope for it to be a peaceful and dignified experience, not a distressing one.
That’s why the work done by Tapping House Norfolk, both at their hospice and in the community, is so extraordinary. Their dedication and compassion are invaluable, and I’d like to do my bit to make sure this amazing service continues to be there for others. At the same time, I want to shine a light on just how vital and inspiring the care sector truly is.
So, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, I’ll be taking on a big challenge: running 4.16 miles every hour, on the hour, for 32 hours straight. That’s a whopping 133 miles—the equivalent of five back-to-back marathons!
If you can spare any amount to support this wonderful cause, I’d be endlessly grateful. Your generosity will truly help make a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
