This is Dad - a good rugby player, excellent tennis player and experimental fisherman. Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in his 30s, he faced down this cruel and debilitating affliction with immense courage, fortitude and little visible frustration.

Now with a bit of time on my hands, I am putting on a backpack to stroll around Cornwall - a place he loved. I hope to achieve a circuit of the entire perimeter within a month, weather and knees permitting.
