UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we've had to push back on the date of our Dartathon. We're both gutted that we won't be doing this challenge on Sunday, but rest assured, we will still be taking it on. Myself and Mike have been in friendly competition for quite a while now - whether this is playing darts against each other, or arguing over who is the better 5-a-side goalkeeper, we have quite the sporting rivalry. However, with the company that Mike works for (Flyford Connect) kindly choosing to support the charity that I work for (Sheffield Young Carers), we've decided to team up together on the oche to take on this mammoth darting challenge!

Our dartathon challenge will see myself and Mike start on the score 100,001 and will end once we hit the double to finish. As very very average dart players, this will likely take us some time to complete (we're estimating about 9hrs depending on how much training we get in beforehand!), but we're more than up for the challenge. We'd love for people to come down and cheer/jeer us on the day at The Red Lion pub, Heeley.

The funds raised from our efforts will be going to support SYC's invaluable work with young people across Sheffield.

Sheffield Young Carers is dedicated to supporting young carers and young people affected by drug/alcohol issues in their family.
