Story
Biking is fun - off-road mountain biking is even more fun!
Raising money for the British Heart Foundation, while avoiding trees, ditches, branches, mud, fences, and the occasional other cyclist is the funnest fun.
Which is why I'm going to be riding 61 miles over the southern England countryside, from South London all the way to Brighton on the south coast.
I've completed 3 London to Brighton rides already, but they were over a decade ago and these old knees ain't getting any younger!
Please, dip in your pocket and sponsor me for this ride, so when I'm blowing out my backside slogging up Leith Hill, burning out my brakes as I hurtle down Holmbury Hill, or grinding my gears trying to get up and over the Devils' Dyke, my pedal mangled shins and mud spattered butt will have been worthwhile.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.
Every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target - and I'll raise a Mr Softee 99 on the Brighton pebbles in your honour!
