Story
This journey is deeply personal for me. I’ll be walking in memory of my Grandad, who completed this very same route 26 years ago. In 2024, we sadly lost him after his long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
This hike is more than just a physical challenge — it’s a tribute to him, a way to retrace his footsteps, and a continuation of a mission I’ve been passionate about for years: raising awareness and funds for dementia research.
In 2019, I ran the London Marathon in support of the Dementia Revolution campaign. Now, I’m taking on this hike to keep that momentum going — because the fight against dementia is far from over.
I’ll be fundraising once again for life-changing dementia research, and I would be truly honoured if you could support me. Whether it’s through a donation, spreading the word, or simply cheering me on — it all makes a difference.
And I couldn’t do any of this without the unwavering support of my amazing wife, my family, and my friends. Their encouragement keeps me going, every step of the way.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Your donation helps our scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
