Hello, I am a dermatologist from Norwich. I am signed up to do the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere in June 2024 to raise money for skin disease research for the British Skin Foundation (BSF). I am doing this in collaboration with the UK Dowling Club, a skin education charity of which I am President this year, as part of a team of dermatologists.

I was diagnosed with a possible small stroke last summer, so this is part of my personal journey of recovery. I am hoping to complete 1500 meters in Lake Windermere.

I hope you will be able to support the British Skin Foundation, which is the only charity in the UK dedicated to funding research into skin disease and skin cancer. They fund research to help the 8 million people in the UK who suffer with a skin condition each year, with the ultimate goal of finding cures and better treatments for every disease.
