On November 28th, I’m embarking on a life-changing trek through Bhutan’s breathtaking landscapes with a small, dedicated group of adventurers. This trek is deeply personal for me; early last year, I faced an unexpected quadruple heart bypass surgery. After months of hard training and recovery, I’m ready to take on this challenge, motivated by a cause that has been close to my heart for nearly 20 years.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of organizing treks to places like the Himalayas, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Kenya and the Alps, not just for the adventure, but to raise vital funds for Sense International. This organization is a global leader in supporting people who are deafblind, empowering them through specialized education, healthcare, and community support. For many, especially in remote areas, Sense International provides a bridge out of isolation, helping individuals who are deafblind find independence and a sense of belonging.
