Story
Some time ago, a friend asked me to sponsor him for a bike ride he was doing around Ibiza. (He had previously suffered a brain haemorrhage and was riding for a brain injury charity.) Before I had the chance to say ‘yes,’ he offered me an alternative: to join him. Rather late in the evening, I agreed to take part.
This is now my second time doing the sponsored 200km cycle, and I’m excited to be back! It’s 200k in Ibiza, but it’s all hills – nothing flat – so it’s going to be very hard work!
So, here’s a note asking a few of you to send me a couple of quid in support of this amazing charity, which you may only have heard of if you know someone who has suffered a brain injury. I won’t take it personally if you do not contribute, as we all receive many of these requests, but if it resonates with you, do support me.
Thanks in advance!
Please see below for a little information about the charity.
