Story
After battling with my own personal experiences with mental health, and since becoming a support worker within this area I can see where the gaps are with what support is required and what works.
I'm a big believer in movement to help the mind, and when we choose difficult challenges, big or small, it helps up to strengthen it and we gain control over the way we think. Which in turn helps us when we are faced with adversity, which life can sometimes bring our way.
By supporting South East and Central Essex Mind through fundraising and building awareness, we can support more people in the local community through our services such as counselling for both adults and children, supported housing and mental health signposting. We are affiliated to the National Mind charity however we are financially independent and every penny raised for SECE Mind goes back into the local community.
