In May 2027, I'm taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours with Ryan, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon to raise money for FORCE Cancer Charity.

FORCE is a charity that has a very personal meaning to us. FORCE supported Ryan and his family during the incredibly difficult time surrounding the loss of his dad to cancer in March 2025.

That support has stayed with Ryan, and it's the reason we've chosen FORCE as the charity we're taking on this challenge for.

Cancer has also touched my own family. My mum was diagnosed with cancer and underwent major surgery and treatment. Thankfully, she is now in remission and has been for a few years. During Mums cancer journey, she and the family received support from FORCE, giving me a personal understanding of the difference that the charity can make to people and families affected by cancer.

For both of us, cancer is therefore something that has affected our families personally. It is our experience of the support provided by FORCE that has led us to choose FORCE as the charity we want to support through this challenge.

We're taking on three of the UK's highest mountains in just 24 hours, and we're going to be putting in the training and preparation needed to give ourselves the best possible chance of completing the challenge.

Our aim is simple: raise as much money as we can for FORCE and help support the work they do for people and families affected by cancer.

We're also building a team around the challenge, so as more people join us, they'll be able to fundraise alongside us and contribute towards our overall team target.
