Nick and Eva’s fundraiser for National Kidney Federation

Nick Papé is raising money for National Kidney Federation

Sheffield 10K 2026 · 27 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

The NKF is a National charity that provides support and information to patients, families and healthcare professionals affected by kidney disease. Our aim is to improve the quality of life and support kidney patients and their families as well as lobby for renal improvements.

Story

Four years ago, I received a kidney transplant that changed my life. To celebrate that milestone, Eva and I are taking on the Sheffield 10K together, raising money for the National Kidney Federation and awareness of the life changing impact of organ donation.

The timing couldn’t be better. Eva starts university in Sheffield the week before, so what better way to explore her new city than running 10K around it with her dad!

I’m proud to support the National Kidney Federation and the brilliant work they do for kidney patients and their families, particularly when they need it most.

10K. One dad. One daughter. Four years since my transplant. A lot to be grateful for.
