Nick, Will & James’ 300km cycle for Cure Parkinson’s

Since his diagnosis with young-onset Parkinson’s Disease in late 2022, Nick has been dreaming of how to create awareness and drum up fundraising to help current and future generations with managing this disease and finding a cure.
This cycle from Brussels to Luxembourg, covering nearly 300km over 2.5 days in the depths of November, is the beginning of this journey to raise funding and highlight this disease and the brilliance of the scientists, researchers and carers working on fighting this disease.
Nick’s good friends, Will Dean and James Morton-Haworth, are joining him in this epic cycle and fundraising endeavour.
We’ve chosen Cure Parkinson’s as our charity for this effort. Amongst other key partners, Cure Parkinson’s teams up with the likes of the Van Andel Institute, John Black Charitable Foundation, Parkinson’s UK and the Michael J Fox Foundation to collaborate on research and other strategic projects in the battle against PD.
Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.Their funding and innovation has redefined the field of Parkinson’s research, enabling the world’s leading researchers to prioritise the next generation of drugs for clinical trial. Together we will conquer Parkinson’s.
