Story
We are raising money for St Luke’s Hospice (Harrow & Brent), as a big thank you for all their gallant efforts in making my dad’s stay with them as comfortable as possible. St Luke’s Hospice is a charity providing specialist end of life and palliative care to people in Harrow and Brent, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life, when families do not have the resources or skills to do so. This is a very important service that unfortunately only gets a percentage of their costs supported by the NHS. Therefore, this charity (like many others) is reliant on the generosity of those that have been touched by their kindness, to help others in future.
Nick Goodheart was a kind, generous man who had a strong sense of family and community. During my dad’s cancer journey, he was so thankful and awe inspired of all the healthcare professionals that compassionately helped him and his family along his journey, and I know he would want to show his appreciation for their hard work, support and kindness. On my dad’s behalf, our family would like to say thank you to St Luke’s Hospice by participating in their Annual 2026 Walk in St Ives, taking on the Cornish Coastal Challenge. My dad loved to travel, walk, and have adventures exploring the world and one of Dad’s memorable challenges was journeying the Southwest Costal Path walk (630 miles) with my mum, Pascale Goodheart, and many friends along the way. Therefore, the family thought it was very fitting for us to undertake a section of this walk with St Luke’s Hospice in Dad’s/Nick’s memory.
From Saturday 23rd to Wednesday 27th May 2026, my mum, boyfriend Billy Wyatt and I will be undertaking a four-day tribute walk for our dad & husband. This challenge will consist of short (6miles) to ultra (18miles) daily distance walking with like minded people. We therefore kindly ask that all friends and family help in saying thank you to St Luke’s Hospice on Nick’s behalf by contributing to our JustGiving page – any sum is greatly appreciated.
With love,
Pascale, Billy, and Adeline
