Story
In September 2023, I was told that I had stage 4 diffuse large b-cell non-hodgkins lymphoma after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour from my bowel three weeks previously.
I underwent six rounds of RCHOP chemotherapy, completing this in January 2024. On 29th February 2024, I was told that there was no cancer left in my body.
I spoke to the great people at Lymphoma Action on several occasions and they were brilliant, offering me reassurance and guidance, at a time when I felt completely alone.
I'm doing this walk for them for the second year in a row. I've got some extra support this year round and we're really happy and proud to be raising money for an amazing charity.
Thank you so much for your support and donations.
If you didn't know Lymphoma Action is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to supporting people affected by lymphoma, the most common blood cancer.
Their mission is to make sure that no-one has to face lymphoma alone.
